Monthly Puja

The Hindu Worship Society conducts prayers and bhajans on the first Sunday of every month, starting at 11:00 a.m. in the Prayer Hall of the India Center. The puja is followed by lunch (potluck or hosted).

There are special pujas for Mahashivaratri, Rama Navami, Janmashtami, and Ganesh Chaturthi. The Society also organizes a lecture series, and on the last Sunday of every month, a community member lectures on a spiritual or religious topic.

Monthly Path
Bala Vihar

The Bala Vihar Program is for students aged 5-16 to learn about Indian Culture, Religion, Language, and Yoga. The group meets every Sunday from 11 AM until 1 Pm during the school year in the basement of the India Center.

The Sikh Community of the Greater Charleston area meets for the Monthly Worship “Path” on the third Sunday of every month in the Prayer Hall of India Center from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
